Fufu stools are like lovable pets, who just wandered in! They’re irresistible to touch and come in a great collection of subtle and not-so-subtle colors.

Each Fufu Stool begins as a traditional form, hand-carved by the Senufo people of Ivory Coast—a community renowned for their ancestral woodworking traditions. The leather hide, dyed in the Himalayan highlands of Tibet using age-old botanical techniques, is then stretched and hand-assembled in our historic 1893 textile mill in Burlington, North Carolina. The result is a stool that is both primal and poetic.
