Vegetable dyesThis Lilihan persian carpet is woven by Arminian in the Kamareh District of Persia, in early part of 19th century. Persian culture is world renowned for its textile artistry. Lilihan are similar to Saruok carpets in their designs.Pink weft color distinguish the Lilihan from the Sarouk but this piece does have a blue weft similar to Sarouk carpets but the construction and the color of the main field is identical to a Lilihan. Quality of this carpet is exceptional of 170 knots per square inch.
